...but not everybody knows it.

By loving.
MARENNE WELTEN, represented by Gallery Albada Jelgersma, lives and works in Middelburg, Netherlands. A graduate of St. Joost Academie, Breda, her solo exhibitions have been programmed at De Pont Museum, Museum Kurhaus Kleve, Kabinetten van De Vleeshal, Kunsthalle Lingen, and at Spaceburo (Antwerp). In 2016 Marenne was part of the group exhibition On Empathie (Bridget Donahue, New York) and in 2018 had a solo exhibition Play Yesterday (Gallery Albada Jelgersma, Amsterdam). HENRY MARTIN is author of Agnes Martin: Pioneer, Painter, Icon (Schaffner Press), Yappo (Company Cod), and contributor to Great Women Artists (Phaidon). His poetry, plays, and non-fiction have been published and performed widely since 2002 with, by example, the Irish Times, Fishamble, Underbelly, Hyperallergic, and Roundhouse, London.
